Texting Scam Alert!

 

There are growing reports of scammers sending text messages asking for personal account information. The message will say that your account has been compromised and that you will need to call and verify your information. When called, you are prompted by an automatic message system to leave your account number, pin number, password and your social security number.

We are advising you, our members, not to respond to this text.

 

Wawa Employee's Credit Union NEVER sends text messages ASKING FOR YOUR INFORMATION.

Our Card Fraud Department DOES SEND TEXT messages to verify transactions deemed possible fraud.

Wawa Employees Credit Union's top priority is the safety of our members, staff and community.  In light of the recent developments, precautionary measures are being implemented as necessary.  Effective March 23, 2020, the credit union's branch lobby hours will be from 9:00am to 2:00 pm.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 610-358-8030 or message us online.
